Jaguar Limousine

The Jaguar Limousine, a custom-built stretch vehicle with smoked glass and whitewall tires, was kept in Teabing's private hangar at Biggin Hill Airport. It was prepared for his arrival with a full tank of gas, a polished exterior, and the day's London Times laid out on the back seat. When the Kent police surrounded the Hawker jet, Teabing used the limousine as a decoy: while the police searched the empty plane, Langdon, Sophie, and the bound Silas hid behind the vehicle on the hangar floor, then climbed inside as Rémy drove it past the officers.

Role in the Escape and Journey

Once clear of the airport, the limousine became a mobile command center. In the spacious rear compartment, Teabing offered drinks and snacks from the bar, while Langdon and Sophie settled onto the long seat facing him. The vehicle's soundproof partition allowed Teabing to phone Silas in the front seat, using the fake French accent of the Teacher, and direct him to the Opus Dei residence hall. The limousine also carried the Medusa revolver in its glove box, which Rémy later retrieved.

Site of Rémy's Murder

The Jaguar Limousine was the scene of Rémy Legaludec's death. After Rémy handed over the keystone, the Teacher—Teabing—offered him a flask of cognac laced with peanut powder, triggering Rémy's fatal allergic reaction. As Rémy choked and collapsed onto the driver's seat, Teabing calmly retrieved the keystone and the Medusa revolver from the glove box, then stepped out of the vehicle. He left Rémy's body in the front seat, parked on Horse Guards Parade near St. James's Park.

Final Disposition

After the murder, the limousine was abandoned. The Teacher walked away from it, carrying the cryptex and the revolver, heading toward Westminster Abbey. The vehicle was later discovered by the police, who found Rémy's body inside and connected it to the kidnapping of Teabing and the theft of the keystone.
